Jr. Advisory Specialist

Position Overview Park Avenue Securities supports wealth management for Guardian policy holders and clients, enabling Field Representatives to act as trusted advisors. The Jr. Advisory Specialist reports to the Head of Wealth Specialists, who reports to the Head of Business Development, and delivers individualized advisory product solutions to Field Representatives. The role requires self‑motivation, effective communication, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities while embracing new technology and product enhancements. Responsibilities Answer product questions, provide solutioning and introduce new products. Design cases, prepare proposals, deliver product education, and implement go‑to‑market strategies. Collaborate with Senior and Junior Advisory Specialists to grow the advisory business within assigned territories. Analyze investment portfolios, develop strategy proposals, and communicate investment objectives and basic financial planning concepts. Partner with the Business Development team to execute communications, campaigns, and growth plans across the sales territory. Identify and communicate sales opportunities to registered representatives. Act as a subject‑matter expert on wealth‑management products. Conduct consultative and educational sales calls and presentations to registered reps. Document field interactions in the wholesaler CRM. Provide case design, strategy, competitive intelligence, pricing, and point‑of‑sale support to Senior and Junior Advisory Specialists. Support the growth of Advisory‑related PAS strategic partnerships, including Investment Specialists. Required Qualifications 1–3 years of overall experience in the financial services industry. Series7 license required. Series63,65, or66 license required. Thorough knowledge of wealth‑management business and broker‑dealer products (advisory platforms, mutual funds, variable annuities, fixed and index annuities, stocks, bonds, ETFs, 401(k), etc.). Strong consultative and organizational skills. Excellent phone‑based communication skills; articulate, polite, confident, and able to establish relationships with the Field. Excellent technical skills with MS Office, Zoom/Teams, Microsoft Co‑Pilot, proposal software, CRM systems, etc. Preferred Qualifications GIAC Fixed Annuities knowledge and experience with Netx360, Envestnet, Salesforce/SmartOffice, Albridge, and Morningstar. Professional designations such as CFP or AIF. Experience in sales desk, wholesale, or financial retail sales in wealth management. Experience in field training and presenting to small or large groups via Zoom/Teams. Life/Health insurance licenses. Compensation Salary Range: $70,930.00 – $106,390.00. The actual salary will be based on education, experience, knowledge, and abilities. The role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
