• Set up and operate manual lathes to produce precision components according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished parts using various measuring tools to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve processes and enhance productivity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
• Document production activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machinist, with a strong focus on manual lathe operations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, processes, and materials.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
