Urgent Care LVN Location: Austin, TX (On-site) Job Type: Contract / Temporary (approx. 19 weeks) Schedule: ~35 hours/week (65 hours per bi-weekly pay period). Shifts typically 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours; schedules are built in 6-week blocks after training. Expect 2–3 weekdays + every other weekend, and some major holidays. Overview Seeking an Urgent Care LVN to provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. This is a patient-facing role requiring strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and comfort working independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Assess patients and document findings in the EMR Administer treatments and medications as appropriate (oral, injectable, topical, etc.) Perform/assist with vaccine administration, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing Monitor vital signs, identify abnormalities, and document responses to care Provide patient education and support for self-care and disease management Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic environment Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted LVN license (must be in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions) If using a compact license, it must be issued in your primary state of residence BLS certification (expiration must be at least 30+ days beyond the anticipated start date) 1+ year related healthcare experience Recent experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER (candidates with experience limited to long-term care environments may not be a fit) Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (Epic preferred) To Be Considered (Please Include with Your Application) Screenshot/verification of LVN license Screenshot/verification of BLS Brief answers to: Your experience in Primary Care/Urgent Care/ER Your experience with Epic or other EMRs Confirmation you can work the required schedule (including weekends/holidays) Confirmation you understand this is a temporary/contract role (conversion possible, not guaranteed) Any planned time off impacting the initial ~3 weeks of training/orientation Approximate distance from your home to the work site Contact Contact: Austin Faris Phone: View phone number on click.appcast.io Email: View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr A-Line Staffing Solutions
