Job Overview
Provides engineering support for manufacturing equipment in a medical device environment, focusing on Needle Punch and Label Printing. Responsible for equipment installation, validation, troubleshooting, and driving process improvements while ensuring GMP compliance.
Key Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing equipment and operations for Needle Punch and Label Printing.
• Assist with FAT, equipment installation, commissioning, and integration.
• Develop equipment layouts and support facility changes.
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and control plans.
• Lead/execute validations (URS, IQ, OQ, PQ) in compliance with GMP.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide hands-on support for equipment setup, alignment, and startup.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) + 2+ years relevant experience.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment, automation, and process improvements.
• Knowledge of FAT, installation, commissioning, and validations (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Understanding of GMP requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Hands-on experience on the production floor.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Fox River Grove, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
