Psychological Assistant/Staff Psychologist/Senior Staff Psychologist, Student Wellness Position: Full‑time, 12‑month position at UNLV Student Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS). Location: University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Responsibilities Provide individual, couples, and group therapy. Conduct crisis assessment and intervention. Participate in consultation and outreach programming within the university community. Supervise doctoral interns and graduate trainees. Serve on divisional and university committees. Minimum Qualifications Doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution (CHEA or U.S. Department of Education). One year of related professional experience. Demonstrated experience and training in generalist counseling. For Psychological Assistant: provisional Nevada Psychological Assistant license at start and Nevada psychologist licensure within 18 months (post‑doctoral) or 24 months (new graduate). For Staff Psychologist: Nevada license for independent practice as a psychologist prior to start. For Senior Staff Psychologist: Nevada license for independent practice and five years of licensed clinical work experience. Background screening required. Preferred Qualifications Clinical experience in a university counseling center. Training from an APA‑accredited graduate program or internship. Experience in brief therapy and group counseling. Salary Psychological Assistant: $81,000–$90,000. Staff Psychologist: $105,253–$120,000. Senior Staff Psychologist: $120,000–$133,000. Benefits Paid time off, sick leave, and holidays.
