Eagle Crest Communities (La Crosse, WI): Human Resource Generalist The HR Generalist at Eagle Crest Communities is a strategic, hands-on leader responsible for consistent, high-quality HR service delivery that strengthens culture, supports leaders, and enhances the employee experience. The HR Generalist partners closely with Eagle Crest South site leaders and the HR Manager to drive workforce stability, compliance, talent acquisition, and employee engagement. The successful HR Generalist at Eagle Crest Communities will be: Visible on campus and known as a trusted partner Decisive, with strong judgement and fairness Organized, with disciplined follow-through Culture-focused, reinforcing accountability and recognition Data-informed, using metrics to guide decisions Supportive, developing managers into confident leaders Approachable, demonstrating active listening skills Emotionally intelligent, able to relate and communicate effectively with an array of individuals A problem solver with the ability to provide recommendations and options to help solve problems - work to listen and gain understanding before making decisions A servant leader, able to establish collaborative and positive relationships, understanding the needs of others EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in HR with 3+ years of experience or related degree with 5+ years of HR experience; long-term care or healthcare a plus Experience with HRIS platforms is required Strong knowledge of employment law, regulatory compliance, and HR best practices Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for meeting HR goals and objectives at Eagle Crest South in La Crosse, WI. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting managers and staff, recruiting and retention, employee relations and culture, workplace safety, unemployment claims follow up, routine benefits admin, employment law and more.
