Quality InspectorThe Quality Inspector, which will be reporting to the Quality Supervisor, is responsible for ensuring quality control for all Rotork product and services.Conduct inspection of goods inward components and materials in a timely manner.Conduct internal roving inspectionRaise rejections notices on suppliers.Convert internal rejections into supplier returns.Operate and maintain the internal calibration systemKey Responsibilities and Outcomes:Working in an appropriate and safe manner, maintaining compliance with local health and safety procedures.To carry out goods inwards inspection of all bought in parts in accordance with company procedures, using as reference engineering drawings, purchase orders, or other associated specifications, either national or international.Perform roving inspectionPerform factory support inspectionConduct review of documentation supplied with delivered against the appropriate internal or external specification.Conduct normal activities associated with the functional needs of a quality department, at the request of supervision.QualificationsRead engineering drawingsExtensive knowledge of physical measurement techniquesCalibration experienceBasic understanding of machining processesEssential:An ability and willingness to train othersAbility to work to a deadline.Ability to work as part of a team.Ability to follow instruction and direct othersRotork is the market-leading global flow control and instrumentation company, helping our customers manage the flow or liquids, gases and powders across many industries worldwide.Our purpose is Keeping the World Flowing for Future Generations.For over sixty years, the world has relied on us to create the things that keep everything moving.
