The Retail FP&A team serves as the hub for financial dataand insights within Apple Retail, partnering closely with leadership to drive the businessforward. In this role, you'll drive transformation initiatives across the team, leveraging AItools to modernize how we forecast, plan, and report on Retail’s OpEx spend. You’ll also owncritical processes including Total Retail capex consolidation and Global Retail Support (GRS)analytics. Description This role will initially focus on driving transformation work within Retail FP&A, leveragingAI and other tools to significantly reduce manual works streams and drive efficiencies withinthe team, subsequently partnering with other finance teams to identify areas of opportunityacross the org where standardization and automation can drive further efficiencies. The rolewould also own two critical processes: consolidation and reporting of Total Retail CapEx andanalytics and reporting for the Global Retail Support (GRS) entity, which covers corporateheadcount and contractors. This person will build and maintain strong relationships withbusiness partners and establish a reliable process and cadence for capex reporting. They willalso serve as a key point of contact for GRS headcount-related questions from the business.Additionally, this role will support the broader Retail FP&A team with forecast and closedeliverables. Responsibilities Drive transformation initiatives within Retail FP&A, leveraging AI tools to eliminate manual work, streamline deliverables, and improve efficiency; partner with other Retail Finance teams on opex to identify common areas of opportunity and drive alignment on process improvement work Own end-to‑end consolidation and reporting of Total Retail CapEx, including developing and maintaining a scalable process and cadence with business partners Own analytics and reporting for the Global Retail Support (GRS) entity, covering corporate headcount and contractors; partner closely with finance teams to understand headcount trends and serve as a point of contact for business headcount questions Drive ad‑hoc financial analysis and projects in support of current and future business goals, actuals and forecast processes, and broader Apple Retail initiatives Support the Retail FP&A team with forecast and close deliverables Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of experience in finance, financial planning and analysis, or a related field Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications Big picture thinking with inherent curiosity to connect dots, understand all facets of Apple / Apple Retail, and drive decision making Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with flawless attention to detail and the ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate results and increase alignment Ability to partner cross-functionally at all levels of the organization Proven experience developing and improving processes, with desire to drive continuous improvement Strong prioritization skills; able to navigate ambiguity, independently manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, quickly changing environment Proficiency with Excel and Keynote required; experience with Adaptive Insights, Tableau, and SQL strongly preferred Experience leveraging AI tools to transform processes and drive efficiencies in an organization At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $114,900 and $172,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
