Work Environment\nThis is a completely remote position, allowing you to provide therapy services from your home or any suitable location of your choice. Key Responsibilities\nYour role as a Remote Mental Health Counselor will include:

- Conducting engaging and effective therapy sessions through secure telehealth platforms. \n
- Completing thorough intake assessments to determine client needs and formulating individualized treatment plans. \n
- Facilitating crisis interventions and providing referrals to additional resources as necessary. \n
- Maintaining meticulous documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. \n
- Participating in regular team meetings to review client progress and collaborate on treatment strategies. \n
Your clients will range widely in age and backgrounds, encompassing individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health issues. You will be integral in fostering resilience and promoting recovery, with an emphasis on cultural competence and empathy in your therapeutic approach.
Qualifications\nTo qualify for this position, you must possess:

- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling. \n
- An active and valid Washington State license as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). \n
- Strong skills in assessment and implementation of therapeutic interventions, with a focus on client engagement. \n
- Proficiency with telehealth technology and commitment to maintaining a secure and confidential environment for clients. \n
While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional experience in specific populations, such as adolescents or trauma survivors, are preferred. Familiarity with collaborative care models and evidence-based practices will be considered advantageous as well.
