Our ideal candidate will be one who is experienced in an autonomous fast paced environment and thrives off of meeting the needs of their residents.ResponsibilitiesAbility to document related information in residents medical recordTake and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.Observe patients under to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.Monitor patients' condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient chartsAssist residents in daily necessary activities such as eating, bathing etc.Administer injections, prescribed medications, clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasksCollect samples for lab testing as assignedProvide emotional and psychosocial support when neededCommunicate with patient and patients' family to update on conditionQualificationsLicensed as a LPN or RN in good standing in required stateMinimum of 1+ year of experienceAbility to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary teamSchedule flexibilityUnderstanding of confidentiality, HIPPA and nursing best practicesAbility to stand, walk, stoop and lift throughout entirety of shiftExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate and able to handle stress
