Registered Dietitian

Salary: $64,000 Position Summary The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) will assess the nutritional status of patients/residents, develop and implement nutrition care plans, and provide guidance to the Director of Food and Nutrition Services, FNS Manager, NDTR, and staff. The role involves clinical duties and may include all aspects of food and nutrition services. Responsibilities Assess nutritional status of all patients/residents. Develop and implement nutrition care plans. Provide guidance to FNS staff and nursing team. Visit centers as needed to liaise with medical and nursing staff. Advise Administrator and support FNS department. Qualifications Registered Dietitian (RDN) credential; meet Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements. Experience: at least one year in clinical nutrition desired; accredited Dietetic Internship or equivalent training expected. Strong knowledge of nutrition principles and ability to apply them for assessment and planning. Interest in food service and nutrition; experience working with the senior care living population and other healthcare patients.
