About the Role:
Join B&Z Manufacturing Company Inc. as a Vertical CNC Lathe or Mill Set-up/Operator where precision meets innovation! The ideal candidate must be able to read, write and understand English. Potential employees must be team-oriented, punctual, honest and able to operate multiple machines while multi-tasking in limited supervised prototype and production conditions. Operators must complete assigned tasks and have dependable transportation. If you match these qualities and would like to join our team, please send your resume.
Responsibilities:
- Load, run & maintain multiple CNC Lathes or vertical mills
- Use of Hardinge, Nakamura, Kitamura, Makino & Haas with Fanuc style controls
- Read and understand blueprints to utilize GD&T
- Cut material on a horizontal band saw
- Light deburring of machined parts to customer’s specifications
- Microscope experience a plus
- Coolant maintenance: check percentage levels and fill tanks as necessary
- Daily skimming of all tramp oils in coolant sumps
- Light facility maintenance to keep equipment and storage areas in a neat, clean, and safe working condition
- Requires long periods of standing, walking, bending and lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Read, and understand company job travelers and must use bar code system for job tracking
- Having your own tools is a plus but not necessary
- Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese is a plus
Job Details:
- 40 Hours per week
- Day shift = Monday-Friday - 6 am to 3 pm
- Starting Date: ASAP
- Salary: TBD based on experience
