Drupal Developer/Architect

Role Description
- Lead the end-to-end architecture for Drupal-based applications (Drupal 9/10).
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance Drupal solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Define best practices for Drupal coding standards, architectural patterns, and deployment workflows.
- Oversee custom module development, site building, theming, and API integrations.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams and perform code reviews.
- Guide decisions on module selection, content modeling, and platform configuration.
- Work closely with product owners, UX/UI teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, solution architecture diagrams, and implementation plans.
- Lead integration of Drupal with third-party systems (CRM, ERP, SSO, APIs, marketing tools, etc.).
- Handle large-scale content migrations and upgrades from earlier Drupal versions to Drupal 9/10.
Qualifications
- 8-12+ years of overall web development experience and Drupal architecture.
- Hands-on expertise with Drupal 9/10, PHP, Twig templating, Composer, and Drush.
- Strong knowledge of Acquia, Pantheon, or similar cloud hosting platforms.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum, version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Requirements
- Acquia Drupal certifications (Acquia Certified Developer/Architect).
- Experience with microservices or headless/decoupled Drupal implementations (React, Angular, Vue).
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure.
- Experience leading distributed or offshore development teams.
