Assistant Professor (CHS)This is a position for a pediatric anesthesiologist primarily to provide clinical anesthesia care with teaching opportunities to residents and medical students. Subspecialty fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology.Preferred Qualifications:Duties for appointment to the Clinician Teacher (CT) track: Provision of clinical anesthetic care to surgical patients (i.e. working in the operating room, plus evening and weekend call ) in an anesthesia team model.Duties for appointment to CHS track: Major teaching responsibilities for residents and medical students in the operating room, and didactic sessions. Primary emphasis of teaching will be in general anesthesia procedures and techniques, or in area of subspecialty training. Provision of clinical anesthetic care to surgical patients (i.e. working in the operating room, plus evening and weekend call) in an anesthesia team model or personally performed anesthesia.
