About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry / Neuro Trauma – Kansas Start Date: October 22, 2026
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts Highlights:

• Specialty unit focused on Neuro Trauma care with 36 beds on a dedicated floor
• Collaborative team environment with approximately 70 total staff members supporting unit operations
• Night shift staffing includes 7 RNs and 3 Patient Care Technicians for comprehensive patient support
• Patient ratio approximately 1:6 (estimated, not guaranteed)
• EMR system: Meditech
• Equipment includes Kangaroo Pumps for medication delivery and feeding protocols
• Exposure to specialized procedures including bubble studies and EEG monitoring

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Kansas or ability to obtain licensure
• Minimum 1 year of current, recent hospital telemetry experience required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – current and valid
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – current and valid
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Travel nursing experience welcomed
