You'll be providing direct instruction for a class of 17-18 learners, primarily focusing on reading and math objectives, with a secondary emphasis on fostering executive functioning skills. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with 3rd-5th grade students, preferably in a school setting
• Strong background in reading and math instruction
• Understanding of executive functioning strategies and interventions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with support staff and team members
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Role Duties:

• Develop and deliver targeted instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals in the areas of reading, mathematics, and executive functions
• Differentiate instructional materials and plans to meet individual student needs
• Collaborate with paraeducators to ensure maximum student support throughout the school day
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress toward IEP goals
• Communicate regularly with families and colleagues regarding student performance and strategies for success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
