Accountant for AI Systems Evaluation

Help shape AI evaluation tasks that reflect the judgment required in financial reporting, audit, and technical accounting at large public companies and enterprise organizations. You will create realistic accounting scenarios, reference materials, and assessment rubrics for either the U.S. standards track, covering U.S. GAAP and PCAOB standards, the international track, covering IFRS and International Standards on Auditing, or both.

• Create scenarios involving financial statement preparation, technical accounting research, external and internal audit processes, and complex transactions such as M&A, revenue recognition, and leases.
• Develop tasks across financial reporting, technical accounting research, audit and assurance, complex transaction accounting, and internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Incorporate tools commonly used by major firms, including ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle, consolidation software, audit management platforms, and research tools such as Bloomberg Tax and RIA Checkpoint.
• Apply relevant accounting methodologies, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and consolidation, using the standards applicable to each track.
• Produce reference financial statements, technical accounting memos, audit workpapers, and internal-control assessments.
• Write rubrics that distinguish sound professional accounting judgment from generic textbook or CPA exam-level knowledge.

• At least 5 years of experience as an accountant, controller, or audit partner at a major accounting firm or corporation, including Big Four firms or corporate controller/CFO environments.
• Direct responsibility for financial reporting, audit engagements, or technical accounting matters.
• Fluency with accounting tools and knowledge of regulatory reporting, including SEC filings, and audit standards.
• A CPA or international equivalent, such as ACCA or CA, is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience authoring rubrics or training materials is a plus.

• Remote, hourly engagement.

• $70 to $80 per hour.
