PAL OF DALLAS LLC is looking for a reliable and skilled Roadside Assistance Technician to join our team in Carrollton, TX! In this hands-on role, you'll be the hero drivers count on when they're stranded — delivering fast, professional help when it matters most. If you love working independently, solving problems on the go, and making a real difference in people's days, this is the job for you. Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls including jump-starts, tire changes, and lockouts
- Perform fuel delivery services to stranded motorists in the field
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections and assess roadside situations safely
- Operate towing and recovery equipment as needed
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding arrival times and service updates
- Maintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean, working condition
- Document service calls and complete accurate job reports
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in roadside assistance, automotive service, or a related field preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot common vehicle issues
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor under pressure
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and ability to navigate service areas efficiently
