Planner

This is a contract role through Magnit for an American energy company based in Jackson, Michigan. This is a hybrid role and requires reporting onsite 3 days a week. Job Overview: The Demand Planner leads long term enterprise-level forecasting to execute on the company's strategic drivers, develops KPIs to support and monitors accuracy of the strategic demand plan. Works with the business to inform long term material investment strategies across large enterprise level programs. Leads cross-functional reviews with key stakeholders, delivers objective analysis and insights, and executes on strategic initiatives. This role is a subject matter expert on demand planning best practice, including demand visibility, SAP forecasting and analysis of risk. Utilizes advanced planning and SAP functions to ensure material planning is aligned to strategic outcomes. Duties: Analyze operational data Demand forecasting Conduct demand planning analysis Identify trends Develop action plans based on data insights Present findings clearly Planning based on operational metrics Translating data into operational decisions

SKILLS:

Experience interpreting and presenting data Experience developing action plans based on data insights Some experience with SAP is required for this role. Experience creating demand forecasting data

EDUCATION:

Prefer degrees in supply chain, business, operations, or a related field.
