Full-time Patient Service Representative at a new imaging center! This new American Health Imaging West Ashley center is scheduled to open inDecember 2026 . Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Lumexa Imaging partner American Health Imaging has an entry-level Patient Service Representative role open in West Ashley, Charleston, South Carolina. We are looking for a customer-service focused candidate that is looking to excel in a medical office setting! American Health Imaging of West Ashley: 1013 Physicians Dr. Charleston, SC 29414 This new outpatient imaging center is scheduled to open December 2026 . Until the West Ashley opening, the PSR will interview and train in the AHI Summerville and/or Mount Pleasant center. Duties & Responsibilities: Schedule Patients for Diagnostic Exams and Procedures Assist with Authorization and Verifications Checking Patients In / Out Answering Multiple Phone Lines Provide Accurate and Complete Information to Billing Office Insurance Verification Ensure Accuracy of Patient Data Entered Into System Process Requests and Filing of Patient Records Requirements: 1-4 Years Experience in Medical Office Setting or Hospital Experience in Authorizations and Insurance Verification Preferred Ability to Handle Heavy Patient Volume Strong Customer Service and Computer Skills Ability to multi-task Medical Terminology Knowledge Robust benefit offerings include: Monthly Bonus Opportunity Medical / Dental / Vision / Life / Pharmacy Plans, with Benefits effective first day of the month following hire date 401(k) Paid Vacation Time PTO Accrual Beginning Day 1 Colleague Referral Bonus Program Please note that eligibility for benefits is based on position type and status and certain positions may not be eligible for all the benefits listed above.
