If you enjoy balancing data, vendor relationships, and operational coordination — and want your work to directly impact patient care — this is the role for you.What You’ll DoAs a Buyer Planner I, you’ll manage purchasing and inventory planning for medical products that support member hospitals. You’ll ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time — while minimizing backorders and protecting cash flow.Your responsibilities will include:Purchasing & PlanningManage planning and purchasing of stock and non-stock medical productsGenerate and process purchase requisitions and purchase ordersExpedite, de-expedite, or adjust orders based on demandMaintain accurate system data including lead times, pricing, and safety stockInventory & AnalyticsMonitor inventory levels and warehouse stock performanceAnalyze forecast vs. actual sales trendsReview daily usage and open PO reportsIdentify and address slow-moving or inactive inventoryWork proactively to minimize backordersVendor & Cross-Functional CollaborationEvaluate supplier performance (price, quality, reliability)Develop alternative supply sources when neededPartner with Receiving, Accounting, and Operations teamsSupport new product launches and project rolloutsParticipate in Lean and continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent2–5 years of purchasing or purchasing/planning experienceStrong Excel and reporting skillsPreferredAssociate degree or higherCPIM or comparable supply chain certificationExperience working in inventory/purchasing systems (Elite preferred)Why Join LeeSar?Mission-driven organization supporting regional hospitalsStable healthcare supply chain environmentOpportunity to grow within purchasing and supply chain operationsCollaborative and team-focused cultureCompetitive compensation and benefitsBenefits PackageLeeSar and CSF offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes an on-site health clinic, annual bonus program, an HDHP plan at zero cost for associate-only coverage, employer contributions to HSA and cost-sharing at all coverage levels, employer-paid disability and group life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with up to a 5% employer match and immediate vesting, plus a Roth option.
