Evotherm Instrumentation & Electrical Technician

Job Family Group: Sales and Business Development Key Responsibilities Have a solid understanding of asphalt plant PLC controls and operating systems. Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems in asphalt plants or terminals. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Ensure proper function of pumps, VFDs, and flow measurement devices on Evotherm pump skids. Accountable for reliability of the delivery system and install, calibrate, and operate metering equipment during projects. Understand Evotherm pump systems and replace components as needed. Install tank telemetry level control systems. Collaborate with plant engineers, electricians, and operators to optimize performance. Perform all work to the highest safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and installation of Evotherm equipment. Work effectively in a team and communicate clearly. Qualifications and Requirements Experience in asphalt plant operations strongly preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Experience with pumps, motors, and process flow instrumentation. Clean driving record. Willingness to work outdoors in industrial environments. More than 50% travel required. Preferred location: South Mid‑Continent (TX, OK, NM, LA); candidate ideally located in TX. No immigration sponsorship will be provided for this position. Ingevity is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
