Neuromuscular Neurologist – Albany Medical College

The Department of Neurology at Albany Medical College is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologists to join and expand our growing Neuromuscular Division.

Albany Medical Center is a private, non-profit academic medical center serving more than 3 million people. The Neurology Department offers programs in Epilepsy, Dementia, Movement Disorders, Neuromuscular Disease, Pediatric Neurology, Pain Management, Stroke, and Neurocritical Care.

Position Highlights

• Provide patient care in a collaborative environment alongside general and subspecialty neurology colleagues
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows
• Perform and interpret EMG/NCS studies
• Participate in plentiful research opportunities
• Academic appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, based on qualifications and experience

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification in Neurology
• Completion of a certified Clinical Neurophysiology or Neuromuscular Fellowship
• Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State
• Strong interest in education and mentorship
• Commitment to excellent patient care
