Senior Developer – Salesforce

This is a contract position 6 – 12 months with the possibility of extension. They want local candidates as they will need to be onsite in Elizabeth NJ three days a week and could work remote two days per week. Person must be a hands on developer with Apex experience and at least three years of SF Commerce experience. Must be a team player and have ability to interact with business users.

To provide high quality code solutions to meet all ongoing needs in the implementation, enhancement and support of the company's Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform and primary point of contact in the development efforts on multiple Salesforce projects. To have knowledge of Commerce Business to Business (B2B) experience developing as well as using the platform to perform configuration, data and code changes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand requirements, develop estimates, able to do design, development, configuration and testing for assigned projects
• To follow the development process and adhere to the standard development policies and procedures using best practices.
• To contribute to the rest of the team and help share knowledge of the Salesforce platform.
• To work closely with others to understand business needs and objectives, using your knowledge of B2B platforms.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently, prioritize multiple objectives in a rapidly changing environment, and ensure delivery of quality product.

Skills and Experience:

• Three or more years of experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferably with some B2B experience
• Experience using CSS & SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, BackboneJS, Handlebars and other front-end development languages.
• Object Oriented Programming (Apex or Java), JSON, XML, Salesforce Administration (Sharing Rules, Process Builder, and Object Relationships)
• Experience using JS Controllers, Demandware Script, ISML Templates, Visual Force, Real time data exchange using Web services, and understand how to integrate to 3rd party code and external systems.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating and communicating with a diverse set of people across groups and organizational levels
• Able to work effectively with business users and managers throughout the organization
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
