Job Summary: 

The Residential HVAC Maintenance Technician at Ables Inc. is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality HVAC service while providing professional, customer-focused experience. This entry-level role is designed for individuals pursuing a career in the HVAC trade, offering hands-on training and the opportunity to gain practical field experience while learning industry standards, safety practices, and technical skills. 

This role supports HVAC opportunities and is expected to uphold company standards in workmanship, communication, and efficiency. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Perform Maintenance on HVAC systems 
• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems (residential, commercial, or both). 
• Perform basic tasks such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and checking refrigerant levels under supervision. 
• Gather tools, materials, and equipment needed for service calls. 
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sites. 
• Drive to job sites with team members and help load/unload tools and parts. 
• Document work performed and assist in completing service reports. 
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines. 
• Continue learning HVAC trade skills through on-the-job training/ on-site training and formal education (if enrolled). 
• Get EPA if not already obtained 
• Buy tools as needed 

Qualification/Skills/Requirements:  

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or HVAC training program preferred. 
• 1year of HVAC service experience 
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. 
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. 
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions. 

Travel: 

Travel is expected for this position.
