Technical Scrum Master
Location: Roanoke, TX (Hybrid Position)
Type: Open for Contact
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating all standard Scrum ceremonies and ensuring Agile principles are followed.
- Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment and delivery of technology modernization goals.
- Drive continuous improvement in team processes, performance, and Agile maturity.
- Identify and resolve impediments that hinder team progress and escalate when appropriate.
- Coach teams and stakeholders in Agile best practices to foster a high-performing Agile culture.
- Support enterprise-level Agile transformation efforts and help scale Agile frameworks where necessary.
- Provide transparency into project status, team health, and delivery metrics using tools like Jira, Confluence, and others.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss architecture, APIs, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and related technical topics.
- Proven success managing Agile teams in large-scale, enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.
- Expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple domains.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent experience in the financial services industry.
- Previous experience working at Fidelity Investments (FMR) with positive references.
- Familiarity with the BFSI sector, including companies like Charles Schwab, bank, Vanguard, or Brokerage.
- Experience with major platform modernization projects or legacy-to-cloud transitions.
