This hospital in Urbana, Illinois maintains established clinical protocols and the infrastructure necessary to support inpatient cardiovascular disease management on an on-site basis. The institution is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians providing ongoing cardiovascular coverage beginning in October. Clinical resources are in place to facilitate effective care delivery throughout the assignment period.

Clinicians will provide inpatient cardiovascular disease management Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, on a day shift schedule with no call obligations. One weekend per month of in-house rounding and consults is required as part of the assignment schedule. All clinical documentation is to be completed using the EPIC EMR system. A caseload of 12 to 15 patients per day is expected throughout the coverage period.
