Industrial Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This full-time, permanent position requires expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting. Check you match the skill requirements for this role, as well as associated experience, then apply with your CV below. *Key Responsibilities:* - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in industrial settings. - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to diagnose and resolve electrical issues. - Inspect and test electrical systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance. - Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, including those related to high-voltage systems, motor controls, and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). - Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on electrical systems to minimize downtime. - Collaborate with other maintenance staff and engineers to ensure efficient operation and resolution of electrical issues. - Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. - Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance. *Requirements:* - High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or relevant technical training is preferred. - Proven experience as an industrial electrician, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment. - Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams. - Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing high-voltage systems, motor controls, and PLCs. - Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Must pass a background check and drug test. xmcpwfu *Work Schedule:* - 9/80 work schedule with a three-day weekend every other week.
