Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care in a Cardiac Cath Lab/EP setting, supporting cardiovascular, interventional radiology, and vascular procedures. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and efficient clinical operations during complex cardiac and electrophysiology cases.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient condition and establish care plans specific to cardiac and vascular procedures.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to patient needs during interventions.
  
  
• 
  Operate and troubleshoot radiological and cardiovascular equipment following safety protocols.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless procedural workflow and patient care continuity.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures, patient responses, and clinical findings accurately and thoroughly.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with infection control, safety standards, and certification requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in critical care, ER, ICU, or Interventional Radiology.
  
  
• 
  Hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Have MRT license and necessary radiological certifications if working with radiological equipment in Texas.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical skills in cardiovascular and vascular procedures.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
  
  
• 
  Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to different clinical scenarios.
