Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual income tax returns while ensuring compliance with current federal and state tax regulations.

• Gather, organize, and evaluate client financial documents to complete filings accurately and on schedule.

• Communicate with clients to clarify tax information, resolve discrepancies, and explain filing outcomes in a clear manner.

• Identify applicable deductions, credits, and tax positions based on each client's financial situation.

• Use Lacerte Tax Software to complete return preparation, perform calculations, and maintain organized tax records.

• Monitor deadlines and manage multiple client engagements effectively during peak filing periods.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and follow high standards in all client interactions.

• Experience preparing individual tax returns in a tax, accounting, or consulting environment.
• Strong working knowledge of individual income tax principles, forms, and filing requirements.
• Proficiency with Lacerte Tax Software or similar tax preparation platforms.
• Ability to review financial information carefully and detect errors or missing documentation.
• Effective communication skills for working directly with clients and explaining tax-related matters.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
