Coordinated Care AgencyCoordinated Care Agency, a dba of the Archdiocesan Housing Authority, offers comprehensive services, enhanced shelter, and housing for people experiencing deep poverty and homelessness. The purpose of our work is to ensure that people have access to the healthcare and supports that they need to thrive. The team works to promote social changes to dismantle systemic racism, injustices and inequities that contribute to housing instability. We approach our clients and colleagues through a trauma informed lens, based on the knowledge and understanding of how trauma affects people's lives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to expand Housing First Best Practices in service to formerly homeless and mentally ill/chemically dependent individuals who society often ignores and neglects.In addition to managing day-to-day operations, the Program Manager has budget oversight for the program and is responsible for sound financial management and compliance with funder requirements. In partnership with the Catholic Housing Services Property Manager, the Program Manager ensures that residents achieve and maintain housing stability. This position offers a compensation range of $35.75 – $39.77 per hour (DOE)Full?time, 40?hour position include a competitive benefits package:Medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus life insurance and long?term disabilityHealth Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) optionsGenerous paid time off, including paid sick leave, 15 vacation days, 12 paid holidays, and 1 personal holidayCCS/CHS 403(b) Employee Savings PlanEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Responsibilities Supervision/Leadership Provide vision and leadership to the Resident Services Staff.Hire and train staff; conduct regular supervision and annual performance reviews.In collaboration with the Program Director, develop and implement program policies and procedures; solicit staff and community members' participation in setting policy and developing tools for evaluation.Promote on-going training and support around best practices in Housing First, Harm Reduction, Grief and Loss, Trauma-Informed Care and other relevant topics.Update the employee training manuals, forms and protocols with a focus on best practices.Participate in on-site New Employee Orientation as new employees are hired.Assure staff awareness and understanding of policies and of proper protocol for service delivery and tenant-landlord law.Track staff attendance at required trainings, as mandated by CCS/CHS.Be available to staff during shifts and emergencies.Set agenda and facilitate regular staff meetings (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) and clinical consultation w/outside professionals.Delegate responsibilities as appropriate and encourage staff initiative. Adminstrative Support Coordinate monthly schedules for 24-hour staffing.Regularly update schedules in preparation for bi-monthly payroll completion.Ensure building coverage is consistent.Review ShiftNote loggings; ensure timely responses to log entries and coach staff on best practices.Submit narrative and outcome-based reports to the Program Director for funder review. Other Maintain regular, scheduled office hours.Respond to after-hours emergencies and share on-call responsibility.Represent Catholic Community Services to all funders, city representatives, neighborhood associations and other service providers.Represent Shoreline PSH and CCS in the community around issues and concerns of single adults experiencing homelessness.Perform other duties as assigned.Job Conditions:This position requires the employee to work in an environment where there may be exposure to illicit drug residues and fumes, bloodborne pathogens or other bio-hazardous materials in the course of doing business. Other exposures could include cleaning supplies, chemicals involved in pest control, paint and other materials used in building maintenance, building temperature fluctuations, dust, noise, pests, and odors. Other working conditions may include interruptions, working alone, evening or weekend work, responding to emergencies and working on-call.This position also requires the employee to work with clients who may have untreated or poorly treated substance use and mental health disorders. These clients may demonstrate challenging behaviors that require staff support for de-escalation or redirection.Physical Requirements:The requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requires the ability to regularly push, pull, lift and/or carry supplies up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Work takes place at the agency work location for the duration of the scheduled shift where long periods of sitting, working on a computer, walking to various work areas, going up and down stairs, and standing are required.Mental Requirements:The cognitive skills needed to complete tasks, including abilities such as learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for decision making, problem-solving, and comprehending.Qualifications Minimum Qualifications BA degree. (See SQ below.)Progressively responsible experience serving homeless populations, particularly adults with mental illness and/or substance use disorders.Two years of supervisory experience with proven ability to supervise multi-shift program.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrable understanding of and commitment to the principles of Housing First and Harm Reduction.Commitment to developing and safekeeping a workplace which values and supports a culturally diverse workplace.Ability to work within the mission, goals and service objectives of Catholic Community Services.
