Contact potential customers through telephone calls, email, professional networks, partnerships, and local outreach. Ask thoughtful questions about event frequency, ticketing, attendance, sponsors, engagement, staffing, reporting, and multiple-location management. Decide whether a potential customer has a real need, a reasonable ability to purchase, expected timing, and a clear next step. Schedule qualified meetings with the Chief Executive Officer. Keep prospect, meeting, and opportunity information accurate in the customer relationship management system. Test customer segments, call openings, email messages, and value statements. Track which approaches produce replies, held meetings, accepted opportunities, and paying customers. Document objections, requested capabilities, competitive concerns, and reasons customers do not buy. Present useful market feedback to leadership and Product every week. Help create the customer profile, qualification rules, message library, and outreach process used by the growing team.
