Technical Writer IIWe are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer II to join a leading organization in Livermore, CA. This role will support Operations and Continuous Improvement initiatives by developing, maintaining, and updating process documentation within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Job Title: Technical Writer IILocation: Livermore, CA (100% Onsite)Duration: 6-Month ContractPay Rate: $25-$30/hrKey Responsibilities:Create, edit, and maintain process documentation using established templates.Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, process flows, and operational documents.Collaborate with managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather information and document business processes.Conduct follow-ups to clarify requirements, obtain additional details, and incorporate feedback into documentation.Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Review, update, and finalize documents for approval and distribution.Upload approved documents into internal systems and repositories.Perform document scanning and other administrative/document management duties as needed.Required Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience as a Technical Writer, Documentation Specialist, or related role.Strong experience creating process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, or operational procedures.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Salesforce.Experience with Windchill.Previous experience supporting operations, manufacturing, healthcare, medical device, or continuous improvement environments.Education:Bachelor's degree preferred.Associate degree with relevant professional experience will also be considered.If you have a passion for creating clear, accurate documentation and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to improve operational processes, we encourage you to apply.
