Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Beachside Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our rehabilitation center.
About the Role:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide treatment to patients with various physical impairments and disabilities. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting physical therapists with treatment plans, exercises, and activities to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals
Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify patient strengths and weaknesses
Modifying treatment plans as needed to accommodate changes in patient condition
Providing patient education and training on proper techniques and exercises
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
