PW Inventory Specialist

SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor inventory levels and perform regular audits, including cycle counts and full physical inventories. Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and record receipts in the inventory system. Organize and maintain stockrooms, warehouses, and storage areas to ensure efficient access and space utilization. Process requisitions, issue materials to internal departments, and ensure timely delivery of priority items. Use inventory management and ERP systems to log, track, and adjust stock levels accurately. Partner with procurement, sales, and supply chain teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels. Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, support loss‑prevention efforts, and recommend clearance or disposal of obsolete items. Train team members on inventory procedures, system usage, and best practices as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for assessing inventory trends and minimizing shrinkage. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and orderly storage. Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers. Working knowledge of standard operating procedures, quality control, and preventive maintenance for specialized equipment, as applicable.
