Wound Care Nurse

Job Summary:

At ALIYA Healthcare Consulting, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care Nurse to join one of our facilities on the south side. As a Wound Care Nurse with ALIYA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality wound care to our patients, promoting healing, and improving overall health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized wound care treatment plans in accordance with established standards of care

• Conduct wound inspections and assess wound status, documenting findings and progress

• Develop and implement treatment plans, including wound cleansing, dressing changes, and other interventions as needed

• Educate patients and family members on wound care and prevention strategies

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance wound care outcomes

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Wound Care Nurse

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Current RN license in the state of Illinois

• Certification in wound care (CWCN, CWS, or CWOCN) preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with electronic medical records and wound care software
