Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough assessments and deliver compassionate mental health counseling through secure video platforms. \n Utilize evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to create tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving client goals. \n Foster a therapeutic relationship by actively engaging clients in discussions about their feelings, experiences, and relationships, promoting insight and self-awareness. \n Monitor treatments for progress, making necessary adjustments to care in collaboration with clients, with a strong emphasis on developing healthy coping mechanisms. \n Maintain ethical standards and uphold confidentiality throughout all interactions with clients. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your primary focus will be to work with stable, low-acuity adults facing a variety of mental health concerns. Our client base seeks support for issues including stress, anxiety, and mood disorders. By helping these individuals develop the skills to improve their quality of life, you will be directly contributing to their personal growth and resilience. Qualifications\n \n A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n A valid and current license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York. \n A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers. \n Demonstrated ability to engage clients in evidence-based treatment modalities. \n Preferred Experience\n \n At least two years of post-licensure experience, with a specialization in mood disorders being highly preferred. \n A proven track record of successful outcomes in treating clients dealing with mood-related challenges. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The salary for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 yearly, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
