CAD Technician

We're seeking a CAD Technician to support our client's team. This role involves creating precise floor layouts for Robotics in AutoCAD, ensuring proper alignment and compliance, and producing deployment deliverables. The position offers a temporary employment opportunity in a dynamic fulfillment center environment. CAD Technician Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed robotic floor layouts in AutoCAD across various design phases. Ensure accurate placement of components, grid alignment, and resolution of physical interference issues. Interpret building shell information and external references to produce standardized drawings. Collaborate with engineers and team members to support project needs. Generate deployment documents aligned with project specifications and standards. CAD Technician Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on AutoCAD experience with layered drawing management. Proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and cell-based calculations. Program experience in C++ is preferred. Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Industrial or Mechanical engineering. At least 1 year of drawing experience in warehouse or fulfillment center settings.
