CRNA Job Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse in Illinois (RN)
• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Current certification from the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA certification)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as a CRNA
• Full-time availability for 8- or 10-hour shifts
• Experience with perioperative anesthesia care and OR workflows preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain/verify informed consent
• Discuss anesthetic options, risks, and perioperative plans with patients and families
• Provide induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia for general, orthopedic, and OB cases
• Continuously monitor patients' physiological status and manage intraoperative changes
• Perform clinical interventions as needed in the operating room (OR)
• Document anesthesia care accurately in iPro EHR and communicate effectively with surgical, nursing, and perioperative teams
