AOI Operator

Our client, a leading electronics manufacturing organization, is seeking an AOI Operator to join their team. As an AOI Operator, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring the quality and accuracy of printed circuit boards (PCBs). The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: AOI Operator

Location: Milpitas, CA

Pay Range: $24.00-$25.00/hr

Shift: Swing Shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)

What's the Job?

• Operate Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment to verify component placement, markings, and overall quality of assembled PCBs.

• Review AOI inspection results to ensure accuracy in component placement, orientation, and markings.

• Perform manual inspections using microscopes or magnification tools when necessary.

• Load and verify AOI programs according to work instructions and documentation.

• Identify defects such as missing components, misalignment, or solder issues, and escalate findings to supervisors or engineering teams.

What's Needed?

• Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.

• Experience operating inspection or manufacturing equipment.

• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed documentation.

• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
