Position Summary Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology business initiatives, merchandising and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. What You'll Do Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model. Manages and supports customer service initiatives such as store outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved. Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high‑quality customer experience. Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating PL Profit‑Loss statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses. Ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow and operational processes. Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring and assigning duties. Recognizes associates and communicates expectations consistently while fostering a culture of belonging and promoting continuous learning. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the Open Door Policy, and applies ethical standards. Builds strong, trusting relationships, communicates with impact and energy, and motivates and influences through collaboration. Acts with integrity, promoting the highest standards of ethics and compliance. Provides excellent service to customers and members, balancing short‑and long‑term priorities and considering all stakeholders when making decisions. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For facilities that sell firearms: successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training. For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state specific requirements: a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required. Attends and successfully completes all job‑required training and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings). Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University. General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring and firing responsibilities. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary range: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 plus performance‑based bonus awards. Additional compensation may include regional pay zone adjustments, complex structure, and state pay differentials when applicable.
