We value kind and compassionate care and respect our residents and staff like family.Shift: 1st shift 6:00am-2:00pm or 2nd shift 2:00pm-10:00pm every other weekendBenefitsCompetitive salary starting$2,500 Sign on Bonus paid at $500 every 3 months until paid in fullPickup BonusPerfect Attendance Bonus $3.00 an hourMedical, Dental & Vision plansVacation planPaid Time Off401K retirement planSame day payPositive work environmentRegular staff appreciation and recognitionJob DescriptionBe responsible for the care and well being of the residents in your charge, and direct train, and mentor the CNA's on your teamAssess the residents' needs and assist in developing and following individual care plansAssure quality care is delivered through the utilization of nursing processes and guidelinesIdentify and communicate changes in residents' status to physicians, staff, and family membersAdminister medications, treatments, and other direct care as prescribed and indicatedCoordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges of residentsCommunicate appropriate information to all staff in order to provide a smooth shift transitionInvestigate and document incidents and accidents as requiredReport any suspected abuse to appropriate authorityDocument appropriately as needed or required in PCCPush/pull 30 pounds of force required to move medication carts and to transport residents in wheelchairsQualification• Valid RN license or LPN license for State of Iowa• CPR certification• Demonstrates leadership and compassionPillar of Cedar Valley is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
