Job Summary Exempt: No Performs and is responsible for the day to day professional activities of the Pharmacy Department including duties involving compounding, admixing sterile products, drug consultations, dispensing, providing drug information, and monitoring patient drug therapy. Standards of Behavior Line of Responsibility and Authority LINE OF AUTHORITY: Pharmacist - Director of Pharmacy Professionalism and Self-Development Education and Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Experience in hospital pharmacy practice preferred EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Residency training preferred LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Current California Pharmacist License QUALIFICATIONS: Able to interface with hospital staff and public in a courteous and professional manner QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrates emotional maturity, self-awareness and consistently performs with integrity and respect QUALIFICATIONS: Must have tact, good judgment, and self-motivation, be detail oriented, respect and protect the confidentiality of sensitive material Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Use of Senses and Communications Skills ACCOMMODATIONS: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee typically encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
