Registered Nurse, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU)

Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), providing advanced, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric cardiac patients. In this role, you will deliver direct bedside nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents with complex congenital and acquired heart disease, including pre- and post-operative cardiac surgery patients, patients requiring mechanical circulatory support, and those with life-threatening arrhythmias and heart failure. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and advanced therapies, closely monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition. Working within a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, intensivists, surgeons, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other specialists, you will collaborate closely to coordinate care, participate in patient rounds, contribute to evidence-based clinical decision-making, and support safe, high-quality outcomes.
