Job Duties

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies that support their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based strategies to boost patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Multi-disciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic healthcare
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Train patients and their families on necessary therapy techniques, ensuring progress continues off-site
• Track Progress and Adjust as Needed: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans to keep patients on their path to recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
• Encouraged to pursue ongoing education or post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
