Food Safety Coordinator

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our food products through meticulous documentation, audits, and inspections. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensure all microbiological samples are ready to submit to the lab, ensuring all documentation is accurate, and deliver samples to the pick-up courier before the cut-off time. Complete all paperwork reviews for production and warehouse, sign off on all documentation, and log into the system. Work within Microsoft and SAP for documentation. Release products and certificates of analysis to customers. Perform GMP and PPE inspections, environmental (ATP) swabbing, and take air and water samples. Conduct audits on tools and verification audits. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Food Science 2+ years of experience working in food manufacturing, either in quality control or food safety. Experience with ATP swabbing, air samples, and water samples. Familiarity with certificates of analysis, SAP, HACCP, and PCQI. About Actalent Actalent connects passion with purpose. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $31.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
