MV Transportation is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead safety, compliance, and training initiatives while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a safety professional who is passionate about developing employees, reducing risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a fast-paced transportation environment. What You’ll Do Lead the division's safety, training, and compliance programs. Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, client, and company requirements. Manage DriveCam/Lytx events, coaching, safety metrics, and corrective actions. Conduct accident investigations, safety audits, and regulatory reporting. Deliver classroom, behind-the-wheel, refresher, and remedial training. Monitor employee qualifications, licensing, certifications, and required training. Partner with Operations and Maintenance to improve safety performance and reduce risk. Coach and develop employees while promoting a proactive safety culture. What We’re Looking For Five (5)+ years of transportation safety, compliance, training, or operations leadership experience. Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and transportation regulations. Experience conducting accident investigations, employee coaching, and regulatory audits. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with DriveCam/Lytx or similar safety systems preferred. Transit, paratransit, or commercial transportation experience preferred. Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets MV Transportation standards. Proven leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience conducting training, analyzing safety data, and driving continuous improvement.
