This is a great opportunity for candidates with assembly, construction, fabrication, or welding experience who are looking to expand their skills and advance into welding roles.What You'll Be DoingMeasure and position large sheet metal components (10-15 feet long) using tape measures and hand toolsPerform light tack welding to secure components before final weldingAssemble enclosures using bolts, fasteners, adhesives, and hardwareInstall mechanical and electrical components according to blueprintsTouch up paint and complete final finishing workUse hand and power tools safely and effectivelyRead and interpret blueprints and shop drawingsInspect finished products for quality and accuracyMaintain a clean and organized work areaWork closely with welders and production team members throughout the manufacturing processThe Assembler Finishing role focuses on assembling large sheet metal enclosures and preparing them for final delivery. You measure and position sheet metal pieces, perform light tack welding, and complete finishing tasks such as fastening components and touching up paint. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools, and able to interpret blueprints and shop drawings in a busy manufacturing environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of BATAVIA, OH.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
