Backend - DBA

Database administrators are in charge of managing and maintaining company databases. Database administrators are more into enforcing a data management policy and ensuring that company databases are operational and backed up in the event of memory loss. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering 5+ years of experience working as MS SQL DBA and technical support experience. Having Azure domain experiences is a big asset. Required Skills/Certifications Leadership - handle technically challenging and politically sensitive customer situations Strong communications skills - Excellent spoken and written English communication skills Effective, polished interaction with customer to gather information quickly; explain customer responsibilities in resolving issue; communicate next steps and status; and inspire confidence The successful Support Engineer has the drive and intellectual horsepower to resolve difficult customer issues; directly supports customers through telephone, email, and chat services as applicable Cross-team collaboration SQL DB /Technical Skills Experience with SQL Server or an equivalent database product - Must have. Experience in troubleshooting and problem solving role - Must have. Experience with Relational Database management systems and concepts High Availability: Experience/Knowledge of Windows Server Cluster Services in On-Premise environments Experience in SQL Server Performance Experience in Database and Server Administration Should able to deploy and Troubleshoot SQL Server Failover Cluster Instances etc. Experience/Knowledge of Windows Server Cluster Services in Azure cloud Having Azure domain experiences is a big asset.
