Sales Lead - Studio Golf El Paso

Our studios combine state-of-the-art golf simulators, expert coaching, strength training, recovery services, and a high-end social environment. Members use Studio Golf to practice, train, compete, and connect with other golfers in a private, technology-driven environment. In addition to memberships, our locations host corporate events, private lessons, leagues, tournaments, and brand activations.

Position Overview

The Sales Lead is responsible for generating new revenue for Studio Golf El Paso through proactive outbound sales, local partnerships, community networking, and disciplined follow-up. This is a hands-on, quota-driven role for someone who creates opportunities rather than waiting for walk-in traffic or inbound leads.

The Sales Lead will own the local sales funnel from prospecting through close, with a primary focus on memberships, corporate and private events, simulator packages, and other Studio Golf services. The right candidate is comfortable cold calling, networking, hosting premium demonstrations, and being measured directly against activity and revenue goals. The Sales Lead will also work scheduled Member Services shifts, supporting daily front desk operations and delivering an exceptional member experience while identifying opportunities to generate additional revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Prospecting & Pipeline Development

• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline through cold calling, email outreach, social selling, referrals, in-person prospecting, and local networking.
• Identify and pursue local corporate prospects, business groups, golf communities, and individual membership candidates.
• Maintain accurate prospect activity, next steps, and opportunities in the company’s sales and booking systems.

Corporate Events & Partnerships

• Source, pitch, and close corporate team-building events, holiday parties, client entertainment packages, private events, and brand activations.
• Develop long-term relationships with companies, hotels, event planners, golf organizations, and community partners.
• Conduct venue tours, prepare proposals, negotiate within approved pricing guidelines, secure deposits, and coordinate a clean handoff for event execution.

Membership & Service Sales

• Convert outbound and inbound prospects into memberships through timely follow-up, facility tours, and high-end simulator demonstrations.
• Generate revenue from simulator bookings, leagues, lessons, fitness services, clinics, and other available offerings.
• Re-engage former leads, inactive prospects, past guests, and other warm audiences with targeted offers and outreach.

Community Integration & Local Marketing

• Represent Studio Golf in the El Paso business community through chambers of commerce, networking groups, industry events, and strategic local partnerships.
• Plan and host in-house tournaments, open houses, networking events, and other lead-generating activations.
• Work with leadership to execute local campaigns that generate qualified leads and measurable revenue.

Guest Experience & Team Support

• Work scheduled shifts at the front desk as a Member Services team member, assisting with member check-ins, reservations, simulator operations, and general facility support while maintaining a premium member experience.
• Deliver a polished, premium experience during tours, demonstrations, and sales appointments.
• Train and support front-line staff on lead capture, upselling, referrals, and proper use of booking and sales systems.
• Collaborate with the General Manager and operating team to ensure sold experiences are delivered at a high hospitality standard.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in outbound sales, business development, membership sales, events, or a comparable revenue-generating role.
• Experience in premium retail, hospitality, fitness, golf, entertainment, or a membership-based business is preferred.
• Strong cold-calling, networking, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Ability to independently build a sales plan, manage a pipeline, and consistently follow through.
• Comfort with technology and the ability to quickly learn indoor golf launch monitors, simulators, booking software, and CRM tools.
• Professional presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver a high-end guest experience.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on prospect, event, and facility needs.
• A genuine interest in golf is preferred; a true hunter mentality is required.
